Disney+ has come a long way since it first debuted.
We’ve seen some incredible movies, stellar shows, and even live performances. But, apparently, not everything has been so great judging by all the series canceled so far this year. And now, another show’s being added to that unfortunate list.
The Muppets Mayhem has been canceled after just one season on Disney+, according to Variety.
The series was first ordered in 2022 and premiered in May 2023. It followed The Muppets’ band The Electric Mayhem — including Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Lips, and Zoot — on a music-filled journey to record their first studio album.
Lily Singh, Tahj Mowry, Anders Holm, and Saara Chaudry also starred in The Muppets Mayhem, which is still available to stream on Disney+ as of this writing.
The Muppets Mayhem joins a long list of series that Disney has canceled so far in 2023. The Wonder Years, The Nautilus, The Spiderwick Chronicles, National Treasure: Edge of History, and Big Shot were all canceled this year, among others. We’ll be sure to update you if we learn of any more cancelations!
