HOOHOO! We’re Riding Disney’s NEWEST Coaster!

Hoohoo! Today, we’re taking you along with us to do something for the first time in… EVER!

We are currently at Hong Kong Disneyland seeing all that there is to offer at World of Frozen, the first EVER fully Frozen-themed land in the world. Not only is it the first-ever Frozen-themed land, but it’s home to the world’s first Frozen-themed coaster. Today, we’re going to ride it for the first time! The best part? We’re taking you with us!

Firstly, let’s talk about the ride’s backstory, because it’s adorable. Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs was build specifically for the special occasion of Summer Snow Day! Oaken has constructed this coaster that speeds through the forest surrounding Arendelle. Olaf and Sven will help riders ascend to the summit and then coast through the forest.

When you join the queue, you’ll walk through Oaken’s Trading Post, where you’ll find “delightful summer treasures and a modest selection of winter wonders.”

You’ll also enter a serene forest clearing, where the famous cozy sauna is. Be sure to give Oaken a HOOHOO!

At the end of the queue, you’ll enter a barn-like building suited for housing reindeer like Sven! A wooden column is also in the process of being carved, which you’ll see in the queue.

Then, you’ll board the sleighs, which are carved to look just like Kristoff’s sleigh!

Throughout the ride, you’ll get the most stunning view of World of Frozen. Like, seriously, this is the BEST view we got throughout our entire trip.

The ride is fast, fun, and reminded us of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Disney World. Our only complaint is that it is a really short ride.
