There are lots of Disney souvenirs to choose from while you’re visiting the parks.

You can select from an array of Minnie and Mickey ears, tons of Spirit Jerseys, Crocs, and beautiful home decor. But there’s one souvenir that comes in MANY variations and is a beloved fan-favorite collectible–pins. And now we have some good news for all the pin traders out there!
Pin trading was introduced to the Disney parks in 1999 for the Millennium Celebration. It has since taken off as one of the most popular souvenirs and park activities.

Previously, we could find Cast Members wearing lanyards or standing by boards that you could trade for with your own pins, always continuing to increase and add to your collection. But that disappeared for a while due to COVID.

Since things have been going back to normal, we’ve seen them returning to the parks so guests can partake in the fun again. But we have yet to see it come back in Disney Springs, other than at the Pin Traders shop. Until now, that is!

Disney has recently announced that pin trading is coming back to Disney Springs in full force! Be on the lookout for Cast Members in various locations either wearing lanyards or with pin boards to trade. If you haven’t started in on the fun of pin trading, ask them how you can begin. They’ll be glad to share the knowledge of the fun pin-teractive tradition.
Not only that, but Cast Member lanyard pin trading will be coming back in full force as well!

Now, while you’re roaming around the Springs, keep your pins on you in case you happen upon a Cast Member trading! We are excited this activity is back in Disney Springs.
