Have you ever visited a Busch Gardens theme park?

Busch Gardens are some iconic parks because you get to see all sorts of animals AND ride some cool thrill rides! Most of the rides at the Busch Gardens parks are rollercoasters (or other thrill rides similar to rollercoasters) and one Busch Gardens park is getting an all-new one!
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay currently boasts 9 roller coasters after recently retiring their 10th, SandSerpent. But they retired this 19-year-old ride to make room for an all-new rollercoaster, which now we know will be coming to the park in 2024!

The new rollercoaster will be named “Phoenix Rising”. It will be a family-friendly ride that suspends riders over the Serengeti Plain. It will also be a first for the park as it will feature music on board, which no other ride in Busch Gardens Tampa currently does!

The coaster will travel up to 44 mph and riders will have to be 42 inches tall to ride. Stewart Clark, the president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay said, “‘Phoenix Rising'” will be an extraordinary journey for our seasoned coaster enthusiasts and younger thrill-seekers alike.”
OPENING IN 2024: Phoenix Rising becomes the largest family-friendly addition to the Pantopia area of the park! This exhilarating new attraction will have riders soaring over the Serengeti Plain, and will be the park’s first coaster with onboard audio ? pic.twitter.com/qbxZe7zdj5

It’s set to open in 2024 and Busch Gardens Annual Passholders will have the opportunity to ride the new coaster before it publicly opens. We look forward to riding this fun new coaster!
