If you’re still bummed about not receiving your Hogwarts acceptance letter when you were 11, of course, the most mature and adult reaction is … to pretend!

If we just dress up as a witch or wizard, they’ll let us in, right?

It may not be the same as actually being able to be in potions class with Professor Snape or flying around on a broomstick but hey, we take what we can get!

These outfits we’ve put together are just the thing to get you into a magical mood. Wear them to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on your next vacation, or just strut around town showing off your new wizard-worthy wardrobe!

Chocolate Frog

Before heading for Honeydukes, throw on this outfit! Rep this magical sweets shop with a shirt featuring their logo. Pull from the pink in their logo, like with this bubblegum-colored skater skirt.

We finished off this outfit by adding black shoes, but the standout piece is definitely the chocolate frog bag! The material is a shiny holographic that glints in the sun and even has an adorable chocolate frog key chain attached (don’t worry, it won’t hop away!).

A Night at Hogwarts

Wearing flowy dresses in the parks has been a trend this past year, but it’s not just for Disney. This princess-style dress has puff sleeves and is the perfect length to give you coverage without being stuffy.

The deep blue fabric dotted with stars reminds us of the night sky around Hogwarts. Call back to the castle itself with this Hogwarts bag featuring Hedwig and a matching pendant necklace. Lighten the look with a white or cream pair of shoes, like this pair that has an appropriate star design.

Honeydukes Park Day

More of a fan of pastels? Try out this look that is also inspired by Honeydukes but focuses more on the lighter colors of their logo. The purse looks just like an oversized piece of candy from their shop, perfect for holding any necessities you need during a long day in the park.

Go for a mostly pink palette with a pink dress like this button-down one, and then throw on some sugary sweet jewelry. You can mix things up by wearing dark shoes like these sneakers, or stick to a pair with a lighter color.

I Solemnly Swear

Show off your mischievous side with this look featuring the ever-important phrase that unlocks the Marauder’s Map! Whether you’re a Sirius Black or more of a Fred Weasley, this is a great casual look for a vacation or just around town. You can stick to darker tones in this outfit, which we styled with mostly black.

The distressed baseball cap features the Deathly Hallows and is good to throw on during the summer. You can add any dark or Harry Potter-themed bag, but we chose a black cat here because it just reminds us of witches and wizards!
