Looking for a Disney vacation that’s a little more chill than a trip to Disney World? You may want to check out the Disney Cruise Line, which has sailings to lots of exciting destinations.
If you’ve been wanting to embark on an adventure onboard one of Disney’s ships, now may be the time. There are new Halloween experiences coming aboard this fall, trips to the Bahamas on the newest ship in the fleet — the Disney Wish, and even discounts on select sailings! For those who have booked or are considering booking a cruise this year, we’ve got an update that could affect your planning.
Disney Cruise Line has updated its cancelation and payment policies again, extending the deadlines for each. These policies changed when the ships started sailing again in 2021, and they’ve been updated and extended several times.
Now, for all cruises sailing on or before September 30th, 2022, guests can change their sail date up to 15 days before their departure. The new sail date must commence before September 30th, 2023.
Disney Cruise Line’s Extended Final Payment policy has also been adjusted. For all sailings through March 31st, 2023, guests can make final payments up to 60 days before sailing. This is only for those in unrestricted stateroom categories.
There is also a relaxed cancellation fee schedule in place for all sailings through March 31st, 2023. For those cruises, the cancellation fee has been relaxed to 59 days before the sailing. But note that this only applies to guests in non-suite and non-concierge categories.
If you’re ready to book your cruise, be sure to keep these changes in mind. And, if you’re looking for assistance in planning your cruise, be sure to check out our friends at Mouse Fan Travel!
