Are you ready to see a sneak peek at one of the most highly anticipated TV shows of this year?

Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on Disney+ on May 25th, and it will reprise Ewan McGregor in his iconic role as the Jedi Obi-Wan. Other familiar names are also returning for this show, such as Hayden Christensen, who will of course play Darth Vader. We’ve already seen a peek at some of the concept art for this series, but now we’ve got actual photos from the show! Take a look!
Entertainment Weekly released several photos from upcoming episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The photos show Ewan McGregor in his role as Obi-Wan, as well as a few other characters.

We caught a glimpse of the NEW villain for this series, an Inquisitor named Reva. Reva is played by Moses Ingram, who is best known for her role in Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Reva is a force-sensitive Inquisitor who is looking for Obi-Wan in order to turn him over to the Empire. She’s described as “ruthlessly ambitious.”

You’ll also see Uncle Owen in these photos, who is played by Joel Edgerton.

About the story itself, McGregor has said, “We find Obi-Wan at the beginning of our story rather broken, and faithless, and beaten, somewhat given up.”

There’s also a photo of Obi-Wan with an eopie, and we love to see these native animals from Tatooine reprising their roles as well!

Along with these photos, it was revealed that some of the story will take place on a new planet called Daiyu. This planet “sort of has a Hong Kong feel to it” with an edgy nightlife and different atmosphere from any Star Wars planet we’ve seen thus far (Entertainment Weekly).

If we thought we were excited before, now we REALLY can’t wait to see this new show when it comes out on May 25th! Keep following AllEars for more updates on the latest Disney news.
