Is 2022 going to be THE year for Disney movies and shows? Maybe so!
We’ve got some big Marvel titles slated to come out later this year, along with films from Disney and Pixar. On top of that, this year is supposed to mark a turning point for Disney+, with dozens more shows coming soon. But now, we’re starting to look even further into the future thanks to one big movie announcement!
According to Deadline, Disney has set a March 10th, 2023 release date for its upcoming film, Haunted Mansion. We were already excited for this release (how could we NOT be with a cast that includes Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito, and LaKeith Stanfield!), but now we’ve got a date to put on our calendars.
The movie is a take on the ride that was originally featured in Disneyland Park, and it will be directed by Justin Simien. Katie Dippold wrote the screenplay.
