Dwayne Johnson Breaks an Unexpected Record!

Is there anything Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can’t do?

We all know he got his start in wrestling, transitioned into acting on the silver screen, he’s our favorite islander “Demi-god” in Moana, our witty and adventurous boat captain in Jungle Cruise, and recently even partnered with one of our favorite ice cream vendors, Salt & Straw, with his own ice cream line. What’s this superstar up to, now?

Dwayne Johnson has become quite the renaissance man with his many talents, and his latest accomplished made an appearance on his Instagram account (@therock), today.

Johnson founded the Destileria Teremana de Agave and works with the Lopez family in Mexico to bring the story and product of their small-batch tequila to the world. According to their website, their goal is to create a high quality, responsibly sourced tequila that brings people together.

Teremana honors the heritage of the Mexican culture, embracing family, customs, and sustainability to provide a quality product that reflects the pride of its creators. It was first launched in late 2019, and even with the delays and complications of COVID during its first years, Teremana still sold over 300,000 cases, breaking a record in spirit sales.

This record-breaking launch has turned quite a few heads, and with reasonable prices ($30 for the blanco, and about $33 for the reposado), it isn’t too surprising why it has gained such a following and popularity.
