TWO Disney Springs Spots Are Unexpectedly CLOSED Today!

Disney Springs is one of the best places to visit if you’re in the mood for some shopping and dining in Disney World!

Gideon’s Bakehouse — the place of gloriously delicious cookies in Disney Springs

Between World of Disney, Gideon’s Bakehouse, spots to grab brunch, and more, you could spend a lot of time exploring with no need for a park pass. But, today we noticed that a brand new shop and a popular Quick Service restaurant were closed unexpectedly.

Both the M&M Store and Chicken Guy! are temporarily closed and are expected to remain closed for the day. Over at Chicken Guy! we got a few clues as to what closed down the popular chicken and sauce spot — there was a sign out front that said: “Closed for a private event.”

Chicken Guy! is hiding behind the bushes

We also noticed that the signs spanned over to Stargazers Bar (which was also closed) and some people were entering through there.

What could be going on here?

The M&M Store is also closed for the day, with signs out front.

No chocolate coming from this store today

The store opened back in January and is where you can find a giant wall full of colorful m&ms that you can load into a cup (for a price, of course) and other fun merchandise featuring the popular candy.

We tried peeking in to see what was happening

We will keep an eye out for when these two spots open back up and let you know! Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

  1. I wanted to go to the M&M store today and was mad that it was closed. I asked a CM in a nearby store about it and she thought there was some sort of renovation happening. I peeked inside and didn’t see any activity. The sign in the door didn’t say how long they would be closed. Rude.
