Disney is making up for the lack of Marvel releases in 2020 in a BIG way.
Already this year, we’ve been sucked into the Marvel Universe in WandaVision streaming on Disney+ and more series and films are coming soon! The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Ms. Marvel, and Hawkeye will be debuting in 2021. But, if we learned anything from WandaVision it’s that once the episodes are out, we don’t want them to come to an end. And, maybe they don’t have to… .
According to ET, Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios) revealed more information about the potential for more seasons of the Marvel series during Disney+’s TCA Winter Press Conference
When asked whether the limited-series could return for more seasons, Feige said, “Sometimes it will go into a series two, sometimes it will go into a feature and then [back to] a series.” So basically, it’s even better than just another season, it’s MORE.
Feige’s comments are interesting considering we know that Elizabeth Olsen (who plays Wanda in WandaVision) has been cast in the upcoming film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It sounds like we could potentially see Wanda BACK in WandaVision after the movie releases in 2022.
Feige did comment that the upcoming Marvel series could extend to a potential second or third season and likely not much further. So, there’s still hope for those who want more WandaVision before the limited-series comes to an end in a few weeks!

I hope this is true. More Marvel is always better! I can’t help wondering if this potential extension is because the studios have the slight upper hand over the actors right now because everyone is so desperate to have work? I had always read that Tom Hiddleston didn’t want to play Loki forever but here we are (thankfully) going into a series.
