If you’re a fan of the classic Jaws photo spot in Universal Orlando, we have some bad news for you.
There’s been lots of exciting news at Universal lately: human riders recently tested the new VelociCoaster, and a new souvenir cup was released for Passholders. But this update is not so fun.
You see, we bought two iced coffees today. One to share with Bruce, our best friend from the film Jaws. It’s a tradition for us to visit him when we pass by the photo spot next to Chez Alcatraz.
We were sadly disappointed because well…HE WAS GONE.
Where did our friend go?? Did he finally make a master escape back to the sea? Terrorizing more beach dwellers? Didn’t think our coffee was good enough?
His absence caused some panic, but Universal Orlando’s Twitter is here to reassure us all.

Still, now we have to drink TWO coffees in his absence. Fiiine.
