Although Black Widow will be one of the first films released in November, Captain Marvel fans can get ready for Carol’s supercharged return to the Marvel universe soon too!
The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Nia DaCosta will be directing Captain Marvel 2 with Megan McDonnell signed on to write the script for the sequel!
Nia DaCosta is no stranger to 90’s content since she recently directed the remake of the 1992 film Candyman with MGM and Universal Studios that will (hopefully) be released on October 16th. Megan McDonnell will also be one of the writers for WandaVision on Disney+.
Captain Marvel 2 starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers will be released on July 8th, 2022! Although we only have a few details about the film, we’ll keep you updated on any Marvel news here!
