Back in March, Chef José Andrés of Jaleo announced plans to close some of his restaurants and re-open them as community kitchens.

The kitchens are currently offering to-go lunches to those in need. Now he has gone a step further to help those in need!
On Twitter, the celebrity chef said that all active doctors and nurses will be able to eat for free for the rest of the year at any of his restaurants when they re-open.

Chef José Andrés also started a non-profit in 2010 called World Central Kitchen. It was originally started to provide relief to Haiti after an earthquake, but has now been assisting by providing meals during the outbreak.
