So who are these three contestants?

Ken Jennings holds the record for both the longest winning streak and highest average correct responses of all Jeopardy! contestants, with a streak of 74 wins and 33.1 correct responses per game. He also came in second place in the Jeopardy IBM challenge, only being bested by IBM’s Watson computer. He’s smart. Really smart.

Brad Rutter is Ken Jennings’s main rival. While his winning streak is much shorter than Jennings (due to a now-revoked rule that forced him to retire after five days), his total winnings are much higher thanks to his repeated victories in Jeopardy! tournaments and special events. He’s only ever been defeated once… by Ken Jennings in the IBM Challenge.

“Jeopardy” James Holzhauer is a newcomer, and a controversial figure. A sports gambler, he uses a strategy of targeting high-value questions and wagering big on the Daily Double to propel his winnings to astronomical levels. He’s also no slouch when it comes to trivia, having been correct on 94.7% of the Daily Doubles he’s hit. Will his strategy propel him to greatness, or will he crumble under the trivia dominance of Rutter and Jennings?
