Anyone who has ever visited a theme park knows that it doesn’t take very long before your feet begin to hurt and your back begins to ache. Most of us just don’t spend that much time walking — and standing — anymore. We often tucker out quickly. So it’s no surprise that Disney has placed … Continue reading "Have a Seat in Walt Disney World – Part 1"

In Camera Cropping

Many times I have taken a photo which looked good in the viewfinder but, when reviewing it in the camera’s LCD display, not so much. It happens when I am not careful and forget to look around the edges before pressing the shutter release. In the photo below I was intent on Space Mountain before … Continue reading "In Camera Cropping"

Today, backhoes and bulldozers are busy in Tomorrowland, eating away … Continue reading "Tomorrowland Skyway Station"

Disney Pic of the Week: Tomorrowland

This photo of Stitch’s Great Escape! all lit up in neon is an example of waiting for the right light. Us, photographers, should always keep tabs on when the sun will rise and set. I have a handy iPhone app which I use and there’s lots of websites you can reference for this information. For … Continue reading "Disney Pic of the Week: Tomorrowland"

Shapes and Lines

Lining up your subject in a way that’s pleasing to the eye is simple if you just give yourself a moment to think about the photo you’re taking rather than shooting something off quickly. When you are working with a collection of shapes and lines you’ll find that by changing how much of the subject … Continue reading "Shapes and Lines"
