Laura Gilbreath shares day 2 of the Dumbo Double Dare, which was the Disneyland Half Marathon. "Whew...it was a very warm day for a half marathon (even warmer than it was on Marathon Sunday at WDW in January), but we did it, and added another DL Half Marathon medal and the new Dumbo Double Dare medal to our bling collection. 2:28:14 for me and 2:28:50 for Lee. Considering the heat I was very happy to finish in less than 2:30."
Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 2013 – New Disneyland 10K Race
Posted onEarly this year runDisney announced a new race for Disneyland's Half Marathon weekend - a 10K to be held on Saturday. And that brought with it a new race challenge: the Dumbo Double Dare for those wishing to run both the 10K on Saturday and the half marathon on Sunday. Do I (Laura) even need to say that Lee and I were quick to sign up for that? I didn't think so. :-)

3…2…1….Launching Team AllEars 2014
Posted onIt's that time of year again; spring...a time to start anew...or a time to start over. For the members of Team AllEars that means it's time to roll up our sleeves and get to work again as we launch Team AllEars 2014.
The Team AllEars Running Team was founded in 2009 to motivate everyone into a healthier lifestyle via the activities of walking, jogging, and running. The team also had another goal in mind as well and that was to do more than just motivate people into adopting a healthier lifestyle. The goal was to serve others who were dealt a challenge...the challenge of dealing with breast cancer.
