Walt Disney World today unveiled another new feature coming soon for the My Disney Experience app: a digital key.
Coming soon to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the new feature will allow guests to quickly unlock their hotel room using their mobile devices, providing them with a seamless room entry option that brings added flexibility.
Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels to Offer Extra Magic Hour, More in 2018
Posted onGuests of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in Central Florida, beginning with stays on January 1, 2018, and continuing throughout 2018, will enjoy an Extra Magic Hours benefit at Walt Disney World Theme Parks, with valid theme park admission. In addition, beginning Jan. 10, guests at these hotels will be able to link their reservations to My Disney Experience, if certain conditions are met.

How to use new FastPass+ system at Walt Disney World
Posted onAs of last week, all four Walt Disney World theme parks have converted to the FastPass+ system. Gone are paper FastPass tickets, and some other key changes are now in place. Here's what you need to know to cut your time spent waiting in line for attractions during your next visit to the parks.
For annual passholders and those not staying on Disney property, collectively known as "day guests" -- we can only book our FastPasses in the park on the day of our visit. That is, until we receive MagicBands. Annual passholders have been told they will receive the RFID bands this year, but no promises have been made to other guests not staying at Disney hotels.
