Just when you think you have selecting FastPasses for Walt Disney World attractions down to a science, the Big Cheese decides to tinker with the process. Beginning this week, guests can begin booking FastPass+ selections at 7 a.m. ET (Orlando time) rather than the previous time of 12:01 a.m. ET. This and other changes to FastPass will affect how you plan your summer visits to WDW.

How to use new FastPass+ system at Walt Disney World
Posted onAs of last week, all four Walt Disney World theme parks have converted to the FastPass+ system. Gone are paper FastPass tickets, and some other key changes are now in place. Here's what you need to know to cut your time spent waiting in line for attractions during your next visit to the parks.
For annual passholders and those not staying on Disney property, collectively known as "day guests" -- we can only book our FastPasses in the park on the day of our visit. That is, until we receive MagicBands. Annual passholders have been told they will receive the RFID bands this year, but no promises have been made to other guests not staying at Disney hotels.
What you need to know about changes to Disney’s PhotoPass
Posted onWalt Disney World is in the process of changing its website and policies for its professional photo program, called Disney's PhotoPass.
The first thing to know is that all photos taken at Walt Disney World after Sept. 4, 2013, appear on the new MyDisneyPhotoPass.com, rather than the existing DisneyPhotoPass.com. (Disneyland, ESPN Wide World of Sports and Aulani photos still appear on the old site, as well as photos taken before Sept. 4 until they expire.)

Many of these efforts fall under the umbrella of MyMagic+, including the introduction of new MagicBands. These wristbands connect all the vacation choices guests make online with the website/app My Disney Experience, including FastPass+ access.
