Guests at Disney Springs now have the chance to see Disney and Intel exploring remarkable new technology as hundreds of lighted show drones take to the nighttime sky in "Starbright Holidays - An Intel Collaboration." The first-of-its-kind light show featuring 300 Intel Shooting StarTM show drones invites guests to gaze skyward and make a special wish this holiday season. The synchronized choreography of the new Intel Shooting Star drones is set to a specially orchestrated arrangement of classic holiday music. In the nostalgic and stirring medley, Disney Springs guests can listen for a few bars of classic Disney melodies.

Disney Springs Celebrates Black Friday (And Saturday) This Thanksgiving Season

Disney Springs will open two hours earlier than usual on "Black Friday", November 25, and Saturday, November 26, to mark the start of the holiday shopping season. More than 60 Disney Springs shops will open at 8 a.m. on those days and will feature a variety of special deals, promotions and bargains. Some of the specials include: - Pandora Jewelry: Free bangle with $125 purchase - Savannah Bee Co.: Receive a free jar of Whipped Honey with Passion Fruit with every purchase, while supplies last - Superdry: Buy 2 items, get 1 free in store - The LEGO Store: Save up to 50 percent off select merchandise, while supplies last (November 25 only) In addition, at the Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream Shop from 7 to 9 a.m. on November 25, you can receive a free coffee when you spend $4.95 or more on your purchase.

Disneyland Resort Celebrates the Holidays with New Fun and Entertainment

The holiday season launches at the Disneyland Resort Nov. 10, inviting family and friends to make magical memories together. This year, guests will have even more to celebrate as they discover the new Festival of Holidays, with music, dance, food and heartwarming holiday festivities inspired by cultural traditions from around the world. Also new for the season is the holiday-themed "World of Color-Season of Light," a nighttime water spectacular that will inspire guests with cherished holiday music and treasured Disney animation. This fourth all-new production of World of Color creates a sparkling winter fantasy with magical storytelling, brilliant lights, lasers and high-definition projectors, along with fountains that shoot as high as 200 feet to create the giant screens of water. Princess Elena of Avalor also makes her debut at the Disneyland Resort during Festival of Holidays, performing in a colorful cavalcade.

Three Holiday Specials Featuring Star-Studded Performances from Disney Parks and Disney|ABC Television Group

Disney kicks off the holidays with three musical specials originating from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California. The shows will be presented on Disney ABC Television Group platforms, including ABC Television Network, Disney Channel, the ABC and Disney Channel apps and VOD, among other branded digital platforms. Julianne Hough and Derek Hough, both fan favorites from "Dancing with the Stars," are set to host two specials: "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" on Thanksgiving night, and "The Disney Parks' Magical Christmas Celebration" on Christmas morning. Stars of "Descendants 2," the sequel to "Descendants," will host and perform holiday songs in "Disney Parks Presents: A Descendants Magical Holiday Celebration" on Disney Channel on Friday, Nov. 25. Grammy Award-winning artists Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks and Kelly Clarkson will perform on all three holiday specials. Each show will feature the granting of wishes to families throughout the Disney theme parks, as part of Disney's "Share the Joy" campaign, designed to inspire families to spread goodwill this holiday season by giving back and volunteering to help others.
