Review: Disney on Ice Presents Frozen

"Frozen" fans are in for a cool treat with Feld Entertainment's newest Disney on Ice production. The show is making its worldwide debut in Orlando this weekend, and I was invited to preview it at the final dress rehearsal and media event. To be sure, Feld knows its audiences. As much as my 9-year-old daughter loves "Frozen," she also was excited to see Ariel, her favorite princess. Mickey and Minnie Mouse host the retelling of the "Frozen" story. What do the classic Disney characters have to do with newcomers Elsa and Anna? A whole lot, it turns out, when the concept of true love is illustrated on ice.

Learn to draw Frozen’s Elsa, Anna and Olaf at Walt Disney World

"Frozen" fans will be happy to know that some of their favorite characters have been added to the choices at the Animation Academy inside The Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios. Guests now can learn to draw Elsa, Anna and Olaf. (Don't worry: If your budding artists is not going to be at the theme park any time soon, he or she still can learn the techniques from Disney character artist Brian James Fichtner in the videos included.)

Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package

From July 5-Sept. 1, 2014, "Frozen Summer Fun Live!" will bring to life the world of royal sisters Anna and Elsa and their fairy tale kingdom of Arendelle. Most activities are included in theme park admission. This package is a great way to see Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. Guests who book the package will check in at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner starting at 10:30 a.m., then enjoy refreshments and reserved viewing for Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome procession at 11 a.m. Later on, they'll experience reserved seating at one showing of For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, which takes place between 12:30-7 p.m. The evening will end from 8:30 - 10 p.m. with an exclusive dessert party in a reserved area for viewing of the nighttime Frozen fireworks spectacular. (Note: Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome procession and the dessert party offer a reserved viewing area, no seating is available. Wheelchairs and ECVs will be accommodated.)

“Frozen” Takes Center Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

This summer, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be celebrating "Frozen," the hit animated feature film from Disney, with a daily character procession, sing-alongs with Anna and Elsa, fireworks, a polar playground, ice skating rink, ice carving demonstrations and a nightly party featuring a live band, all themed to the worldwide phenomenon. From July 5-Sept. 1, 2014, "Frozen Summer Fun Live!" will bring to life the world of royal sisters Anna and Elsa and their fairy tale kingdom of Arendelle. Most activities are included in theme park admission.
