Destination D: Attraction Rewind Merchandise Preview

One of the many highlights of Destination D: Attraction Rewind this November is that Mickey's of Glendale -- the Walt Disney Imagineering store-will be setting up a temporary pop-up shop with items available exclusively to D23 Members attending the event! The shop will open on Friday, November 21 and will offer hours for members through Sunday, November 23.

Angelina Jolie Casts a Spell as Maleficent on the Summer 2014 Issue of Disney Twenty-Three

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club celebrates the upcoming release of the eagerly anticipated Maleficent in the summer publication Disney twenty-three. Angelina Jolie and the creative team pull back the curtain on the surprising tale behind one of Disney's most iconic villains. "I was afraid of her, and I loved her," Jolie confesses in the cover story. Accompanying the piece is an in-depth look by animation historian Charles Solomon at the development of Walt Disney's 1959 creative masterpiece, Sleeping Beauty, with rarely seen concept art and drawings.

D23 Expo Announced for August 14-16, 2015

Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger announced to shareholders and D23 Members at the Company's Annual Meeting today in Portland, Oregon, that D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will present the next D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center the weekend of Aug. 14-16, 2015. Each of Disney's wonderful worlds will unite to celebrate what's new and what's on the horizon from theme parks, television, music, games, and films, including Pixar, the Muppets, Star Wars, and Marvel.
