A gorgeous resort with a stunning lobby and amazing themeing. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, We stayed in a savannah view room with a balcony that overlooked the animals.
Pros:
Best restaurants at any resort in my mind. The Mara, Boma, and Jiko are all top notch! Themeing is on point and beautiful. Having a view of the savannah from our room was really cool.Cons:
Location is close to Animal Kingdom but farther away from the other parks. We went in January so did not get to use the pools. Not as many animals were out due to the colder weather.Review of Captain Cook's

I like to have lunch here when we visit, because I like the turkey and mashed potatoes. My kids go along with it as it's my one meal request. One this last trip however, we mentions my daughters food allergies (she had brought food with her) and the waitress said \"give me a minute\". She brought out the chef who talk to use about what kinds of things she could eat. He made her a wonderful meal- from something not on the regular lunch menu. She was so excited to add this to the list of Disney restaurants she can now eat at.
Pros:
Waitress fabulous- went out of her way to make sure my daughter was treated special. Great chef who thought outside the box and was willing to make the extra effort.Cons:

Love the lobby, love the quick service, amazing restaurants, convenient to Magic Kingdom to take ferry, great pools for kids.

Great place for adults to have a little kid free fun after 8 pm. A very social environment to meet guests and cast members from all over the world. Food was good, drinks were great and the entertaining servers were wonderful. Each different drink comes with its own special experience.

Would definitely recommend staying here. Very convenient to be on monorail. Not the best quick service but has great shopping.
