The pizza was good... service was terrible. Server suggested we order everything at once, they would bring appetizers first followed (in a timely manner) by entree and pizza. First item to the table, pizza. Other items arrived randomly over the next 15 minutes. Had to ask multiple times to speak to a manager to discuss the issue. Over 20 minutes later a manager appeared. Our dinner was comped quickly as the manager discovered how poor our experience was.

We went last year(2018) and loved it. Of course it was crowded, it should be. We went mid week and did everything we wanted to do, including mine train and space mountain twice. We waited for the late show by the castle and walked right up to within 10 feet of the stage just as it started. No one was there and the kids were thrilled at 11:30pm. They didn't want to go to bed, that night was so much fun.

This meal was not satisfactory in any way shape or form. We had been to the Electic Umbrella in much better times and couldn’t believe how poor it was. After buying the meal plan, it was a terrible waste of a meal. Burgers were like sawdust, stale with little topping options. The salad was small and poorly constructed even for a fast food restaurant. The Starbucks across the way would have been a better lunch option. Service was poor, slow, and rude. The place is unkempt and poorly run. A terrible experience in an otherwise lovely trip. When one considers how many excellent quick service options there are on DDP we will be sure to plan to avoid this mistake again.

We had an advanced dining reservation for dinner at the wave. Service and food were excellent. The filet was cooked to perfection, and everyone was happy with their order. A stand out for us was the service and consideration offered by our server Ron from Utah. When one of our party had an allergy concern, she was not simply guided away from options containing that item. They changed a dish that she had wanted to suit her needs, and did so happily. We have always been offered an allergy friendly menu at Disney Resorts, but never been able to order anything and have it tailor made. This went above and beyond any restaurant accommodations at Disney including any from a signature resort. The wine list was extensive, food was beautifully prepared and dessert was excellent.

Overall, the service and the product were great. My wife's wheelchair was waiting for us when we arrive, and the drop off was easy.
The only issue we had is that both of the footrests were broken, in a way that made them almost drag on the ground. When we went over a bump they would catch. I would have called to trade it in, but this was a very short trip and I didn't want to sideline us waiting for a replacement.

I put a request in while dining at California Grill. I have been told for over a week that someone will call me. I have spent hours on hold for several departments.

I wasn't impressed. You can barely read the menu because it is so dark. The darkness at least hides how dirty the tables are.
