Phineas and Ferb & YOU: A Brand New Reality’ Opens at Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort September 1

Phineas & Ferb will invade another area of Walt Disney World Resort: Beginning September 1, guests of all ages can participate in a complimentary augmented reality offering at Downtown Disney called Phineas and Ferb & YOU: A Brand New Reality. The experience, which will take place next to Bongos Cuban Cafe, will allow guests to step onto a platform and virtually interact with Phineas, Ferb, Dr. Doof and Agent P (in their animated forms) on a screen above. Fans can expect to experience any one of 20 different interactions, from dancing The Platypus Walk to getting caught in Dr. Doofs Freeze-inator.

Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant Hosts Central Florida’s First Boutique Irish Festival ‘The Great Irish Hooley’ August 31-Sept. 3 at Downtown Disney

Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant will host Central Florida's first boutique Irish festival, The Great Irish Hooley, August 31-September 3 at Downtown Disney. A traditional Irish social celebration, the "Hooley" combines music ranging from traditional to rock tunes with entertainment and interactive fun for the whole family. Raglan Road's Great Irish Hooley will make the long weekend memorable with a mix of great Irish bands, Irish dance workshops for anyone in the family, structured set dancing known as the Ceili (pronounced kay-lee), Celtic face-painting Saturday through Monday and authentic food and beverages for all. Pete’s Silly Sideshow Coming to Fantasyland Expansion

New character meet and greet called Pete's Silly Sideshow is coming to the Fantasyland expansion in the Magic Kingdom. This new character greeting area has two entrances: One line leads to Minnie Magnifique (Minnie Mouse as a circus star) and Daisy Fortuna (Daisy Duck as a fortuneteller), while the other line leads to The Great Goofini (Goofy as a daredevil stunt pilot) and The Amazing Donaldo (Donald Duck as a snake charmer).
