G-O-R-I-L-L-A

It was a rough and bumpy ride on the Kilimanjaro Safari but lots of animals were out that day which made for an exciting time. Although Little Red really needs to stop fraternizing with poachers. Anywaaaay, after we exited the vehicle in an orderly fashion, I heard a Cast Member say if we took a … Continue reading "G-O-R-I-L-L-A"

Out for a Speedway Drive

For some strange reason I have rarely experienced the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. Maybe it’s because I keep calling it Autopia and none of my WDW-loving friends know what I’m talking about. I guess I just lost a point on the WDW Fanatic Measuring System. It’s rather difficult to take photos while driving, trust me on … Continue reading "Out for a Speedway Drive"

I waited for Indy … Continue reading "Run for Your Life in the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room"

Internally, the camera sets the f-stop to allow less light to come through the lens but bringing the entire scope into … Continue reading "Landscapes Gone Vertical"

Trick or Treat

This decadent-looking candy apple caught my eye at Süssigkeiten (Sweets) in Germany’s pavillion in EPCOT. The Mickey ears treat is drenched in milk chocolate, designed to look like it’s covered by a cobweb and boasts two happy candy pumpkins. Yummy!

Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

Action shots are especially hard to get with most point and shoot camera because they simply can’t take photos fast enough to freeze movement. There are however high-end point and shoots which allow the owner to use manual settings which open up a stream of possibilities. Once again, I picked up the Canon Powershot S5 … Continue reading "Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular"
