We’ve got some fantastic news out of Epic Universe, especially if you’re a big fan of the park at night.

The lights around the park, especially Celestial Park, are absolutely stunning already, but things are about to be kicked up a notch. Universal Orlando just announced that a new nighttime spectacular is coming to the park beginning next month, and we’re already counting down the days!
Beginning July 7th, Epic Universe will begin playing their new show Universal Celestial Goodnight in Celestial Park each night! Universal says the new show will “envelop all of Celestial Park into a captivating display of dancing fountains, breathtaking lighting effects, and a spectacular fireworks finale that will illuminate the nighttime sky.”

The new show will pay tribute to the characters and IP found throughout the park thanks to the 600 synchronized light fixtures, over 350 larger-than-life fountains, and seven million LED lights. The choreography is set to a high-energy musical score, and fireworks cap it all off.

This isn’t actually the first time we’ve heard of this show! Back in December, Universal trademarked “Universal Celestial Goodnight,” and while there was no news on what that could be, the logo trademarked showed the logo now seen on the concept art.

That means it took about seven months from the trademarking to the announcement of the show, and will take about eight months from it for the show to actually debut. We can’t wait to hop into the park and see the show, which will run nightly beginning July 7th. At this time, there is no end date in sight, so it doesn’t sound like this will be a limited or seasonal run.
