Exclusive DVC Member Event Coming to Disney World Next Month

A lot is happening in Disney World this summer, and it’s only June!

We’ve still got two months of the summer left to go, and already we’ve seen tons of new attractions open, like Bluey’s Wild World, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and more, but now, if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, there’s a special event coming next month that you won’t want to miss. 

To kick off the Fourth of July weekend, Disney is hosting the Disney Vacation Club Meet & Treat at Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney’s BoardWalk on both July 1st and July 2nd. However, only one date will be available per DVC membership.

The event will run from 11 AM to 1 PM both days, but only Disney Vacation Club Members who are eligible for Membership Extras AND who have a qualifying reservation booked within their eligible Membership at a Disney-owned-and-operated hotel in Disney World or at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort on an event date can attend.

There is no additional cost for this event, and the DVC member can bring up to 4 guests per Membership Card, or the number of guests on their Resort reservation. There also isn’t parking available for the event, so Disney recommends you use free Disney World Transportation to get to the BoardWalk. Personally, we’d recommend taking the Skyliner or bus to EPCOT or one of the EPCOT resort area hotels, and then walking to the BoardWalk from there.

In case you’re not familiar with it, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a popular vacation ownership program where guests can reserve amazing rooms at Disney World, Disneyland, and many other locations. However, instead of owners buying a specific size unit in a set time of year, DVC works on a point system giving owners the flexibility to travel when they want, as often as they want, for however long they want, and in whatever size unit they choose.
