Disney World offers a variety of free transportation to help you get around the entire resort.Â

The resort is huge and is home to four theme parks, two water parks, four golf courses, a shopping center, two mini-golf courses, and close to 30 hotels. Phew! That is a lot to navigate, and that is why Disney World has transportation Cast Members to help get you where you want to go! You can hop aboard a monorail, Skyliner, boat, or bus to get from point A to point B. We have shared travel tips in the past, but we wanted to let you in on our three sneakiest ones.
Grab your notes and jot this down so you don’t forget it when your next trip to Disney World rolls around!

The Secret Way to Get From MCO to Disney World
Disney World, unfortunately, has phased out the Magical Express, which means there is no longer a free way to get to and from the Orlando International Airport and Disney World. While similar options like Magical Express are available, they are pricey, but there is a way to get to and from the airport for only $2!!

We won’t lie; since it is so cheap, it can be a bit confusing, but we are here to break it down for you. First things first, you will want to take LYNX Bus Route 311. This route will drop you off at Disney Springs. From there, you will want to head to the resort bus transportation station and board the bus to your resort.Â

There is a caveat to this: You cannot bring any luggage with wheels on board a Disney bus. A backpack or tote is totally fine, but if you have more luggage, you can call a rideshare from Disney Springs after the Lynx bus drops you off. The cost of a rideshare from Disney Springs to a Disney World hotel is significantly cheaper than a rideshare all the way from the airport.Â

Now, we know, that’s a lot of steps. And you’ll be on a bus that makes multiple stops before it gets to Disney Springs (when we tried it, it took about an hour). But if you don’t mind some inconvenience to save some bucks, it’s something to try!
Stroller-Friendly Travel
It can be a pain to have to fold up your stroller when you board Disney World transportation, but there are two options where you can roll your stroller right on.Â

Both the monorail and the Skyliner do not require you to fold your stroller. The only exception is if you have a side-by-side double stroller, then you will need to fold it on the Skyliner, but single and tandem strollers are (in most cases) good to roll right on board.

Use the Closer Bus Stop
Disney’s All-Star Resorts only offer bus transportation. Each of the three resort stations is located right outside the main lobby building. Since each resort is so spread out, your closest bus stop might not be your resort’s bus stop.Â

For example, let’s say you are staying in the Mighty Ducks section of All-Star Movies. This section of the hotel is closer to All-Star Music’s main lobby. This means you might be able to save steps by choosing to take the bus from All-Star Music rather than All-Star Movies.
