ALERT: Disney Reveals 2024 DATES for Candy Cane Distribution

The holiday season is almost here at Disneyland!

One of the best times of the year to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth” is during the holiday season. You’ll find festive decorations, ride overlays, and tasty treats to celebrate the season. We get especially excited for Disneyland’s seasonal treat offerings, including the resort’s handmade candy canes!

Disneyland’s handmade 18-inch candy canes have been around for decades and are a hot commodity each year. In fact, they can be downright difficult to acquire. If you’re looking to pick one up this year, Disney just released a distribution schedule and info to help you on your quest!

Sales begin on November 29th, 2024, and will continue through Christmas, December 25th, 2024. The distribution schedule is as follows:

Quantity is very limited, so in order to purchase a candy cane, you’ll need to join a mobile waitlist or grab a wristband. Wristband info is still TBD but Disney has revealed that “If the waitlist is activated, you can add your name and phone number at the location to receive a text back with a time to return to the location for the opportunity to purchase your candy cane, while supplies last.”

As a heads up, in-person purchases will be required and candy canes will be limited to one (1) per person per day. For more information, visit the Disneyland website.

Prices have not yet been officially announced, but the candy canes have been $19.99 each in the past. We’ll let you know if that changes and what to expect once we get closer to the release date.
