A lot has changed over the past few months when it comes to health and safety measures since Disneyland reopened in April!

Recently, Disneyland has relaxed face mask policies, removed temperature screenings at the park entrance, and increased park capacity. But, now, in accordance with updated CDC guidance, their policy is set to change once again.
According to Disneyland’s website, Cast Members and Guests ages 2 and up will be required to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status in all indoor locations at Disneyland Resort beginning Friday, July 30th. This includes when entering and through many attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles, including shuttles and buses.

The mask policy is very similar to what we saw in Disney World earlier this year and, to meet the requirement, guests’ masks must be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material, fully cover the once and mouth, fit snugly against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops to allow the guest to remain hands-free.

These changes come just days after the CDC updated its guidance to recommend that all people, regardless of vaccination status, wear face masks in areas where there is a “high” or “substantial” transmission of COVID-19.
And, Disneyland isn’t the only park making an update to mask policies — the same changes are also coming to Disney World on the same date.

Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more information on changes to health and safety measures in Disneyland, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
