NEWS: Opening Timeline Announced for NEW Universal Studios Hollywood Coaster

Family! We just got some huge news about the new Fast & Furious coaster coming to Universal Studios Hollywood!

The coaster has been under construction for a while, and we knew that 2026 was the year it would open. But now we have a more specific timeline — summer 2026!

At the end, it reveals the summer 2026 timeline. Summer technically starts on June 21st, so we expect the official opening date to be after that!

This will mark the first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster at the park, hitting speeds up to 72 miles per hour. If that’s not enough thrill, the individual ride vehicles spin and do a 360-degree rotation to give the sensation of drifting cars.

This isn’t the only huge Fast & Furious theme park news we got recently! Universal Orlando just announced that a new coaster would be replacing the now-closed Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, themed to the popular movie franchise. This one is set to open in 2027!

Around that time, the controversial Fast & Furious — Supercharged ride, which opened in 2018, will permanently close. No word from Universal on what will take over that building…but we have our wishes! (*cough cough* Back to the Future *cough cough*).
