We just got some news on the live-action ‘Tangled’ that you can’t miss. Disney announced this week that they’ve found their next Rapunzel and Flynn – but that’s not all.

Rumors about the other leads of the live-action ‘Tangled’ have been circulating since its announcement. But after the Hollywood Reporter shared that Flynn had already been cast two weeks before Disney’s release, word on the street might be true after all.
In case you missed it, Milo Manheim of Disney Channel’s ‘Zombies’ and the Paramount+ original ‘School Spirits’ has been cast as charming Flynn Rider. As for our favorite Flower, Teagan Croft of DC’s ‘Titans’ will helm the project.

So far, Manheim and Croft are the only two actors officially attached to the film — but one Deadline report caught our eye. If, like me, you’re experiencing Agatha All Along withdrawals, you’re going to love this.

Our favorite Marvel witch is in talks to play Mother Gothel! While Scarlett Johansson (another Marvel leading lady) was being considered to play Mother Gothel, she reportedly dropped out of the film due to schedule conflicts with her upcoming projects, Batman II and The Exorcist reboot. Hahn is a 4-time Emmy nominee from her work in Marvel’s “WandaVision” and “Agatha All Along.” She recently starred in Apple TV’s “The Studio” and Hulu’s “Tiny Beautiful Things.” Disney is still in the early development stages of the live-action “Tangled,” so there’s no release date or timeline just yet. We’ll keep you updated as more news comes out!
