We’ve all been there: As a long-awaited, intricately planned Walt Disney World trip ends, the post-vacation depression sets in.

I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World for over 30+ years, and even now, I can’t help but feel depressed when each trip ends. However, as one of our readers recently pointed out, there’s a way to alleviate that feeling, book a NEW Disney World trip, and SAVE all at the same time!
Recently, we took to our Facebook page to ask our readers to give their best Disney advice, especially for first-timers. Many offered tried and true tips on shoes, rope dropping, not burning oneself out, etc. However, it was the advice of reader John that jumped out to us as a way to avoid the post-Disney blues.

They recommended, “Budget an extra $300-$400 to leave in your account for after the trip to book your ‘bounce-back’ offer. Even if it’s well into the future, you can save a bunch of money on your next trip – because after your trip, you’ll definitely be wondering when you’ll be coming back.”

For those unfamiliar, “bounce-back” offers are Disney’s exclusive savings for those who book a new Disney trip within a week of the end of their previous Disney trip.
Disney’s current “bounce-back” offers include:
- Up to 35% on rooms at select Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts
- Up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Moderate Resorts
- Up to 25% on rooms at select Disney Value Resorts

The reservations, which can be modified or canceled without penalty up to 30 days prior to arrival, are available on the following dates in 2026:
- January 12th to January 15th
- January 19th to January 23rd
- February 8th to February 12th
- February 15th to February 19th
- February 22nd, to February 25th
- March 3rd to May 21st
- May 25th to July 1st
- July 6th to September 2nd
- September 7th to September 29th
- October 26th to December 24th

If you find yourself feeling the post-Disney blues after your next trip, try out John’s advice and take advantage of Disney’s “bounce-back” offer!
