If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you may have figured out the basics, like where you’re staying, what tickets you need, and how you’re getting there.

But you should also start thinking about what you need to pack, specifically what you need to get for your park bag. There are certain essentials that everyone brings to Disney World, and we just want to make sure you know what they are BEFORE your trip so you can stock up, too.
Rainy Day Essentials
There’s a good chance that it will rain during your Disney World trip, and we have some essentials that we always keep on hand. That includes the Frogg Toggs Ultralite Poncho that keeps us dry when the rain starts pouring down (as it does).

We love how lightweight this poncho is because there’s nothing worse than sweating under your poncho. We also love that it has its own little carrying pouch, so you can easily store it after you use it without getting all the other stuff in your bag wet.
We also travel with a Mini Umbrella like this one, which is GREAT for a rainy day (especially if you don’t want to deal with a poncho). But this umbrella also offers important UV protection. The sun rays in Florida are ROUGH.

It also comes in its own little container so you can store it easily in your day bag when you’re not using it.
We know these might not seem fashionable, but we can’t live without the Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers. Y’all, there is nothing fun about walking around in wet shoes and socks, but these covers prevent that.

These shoes will keep your feet nice and dry, even in the rainiest of conditions. We do recommend you consider sizing up so that you’ll get a good fit over your shoe.
A reliable park bag
Okay, so you also need a park bag that you can keep these essentials in. We love a good Loungefly because they’re functional and cute to carry in the parks. Take this Fantasia Loungefly Mini Backpack, for example. It’s got Sorcerer Mickey on it.

This would be the perfect bag to carry around when you see Fantasmic! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, too, right? Oh, did we mention it lights up?
We also make sure we have our handy-dandy Mini Backpack Organizer. These fit in standard Loungefly bags and help you keep your stuff organized so you’re not digging through your bag trying to hunt down what you need. This baby has compartments for everything.

The best part is that if you switch Loungefly bags up a lot like we do, you can just pull the organizer out of one bag and put it in another. SO easy. This organizer will simplify your life.
If you’re not a backpack person, we can also recommend the Kavu Mini Rope Crossbody Sling Bag. It’s easy to carry around, and it’s smaller than a typical Loungefly if you don’t need that big of a park bag.

It also comes in a variety of colors and styles.
We especially like the ODODOS Daily Sling Bag. It’s got great organization and is perfect if you want a smaller park bag. This bag, though, is surprisingly roomy — you’d be amazed at how much stuff you can fit in it.

We like that it’s bigger than a fanny pack, but not as big as a backpack. So if that sounds like something you’re looking for, you might want to grab one in several colors.
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
