According to WESH 2 News, a guest died after riding Stardust Racers at Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe. The man suffered multiple blunt impact injuries, which were ruled the cause of death. The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that the manner of death was an accident.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says that they had off-duty deputies responding to the theme park, calling a “man down.” Once they arrived, they found a man in his 30s who was not responsive.
The man, later identified as Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Stardust Racers says that it’s “closed today” on the Universal app, and a statement from Universal says, “Universal is cooperating with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office following a tragic event involving a guest at Epic Universe on Wednesday night. The guest became unresponsive after riding Stardust Racers and was transported to the hospital, where the guest later died. We are devastated by this event and extend our sincerest sympathies to the guest’s loved ones. We are fully committed to cooperating with this ongoing investigation. The attraction remained closed.”

Stardust Racers is a dual-launch racing roller coaster that reaches speeds up to 62 mph with heights up to 133 feet and 5,000 feet of track. It’s Universal’s most thrilling coaster experience, with two of the vehicles completing an inverted crisscross in the air.
Our thoughts are with the guest’s family and friends. You can donate to the family’s GoFundMe here.

You all need to call out Epic. Right now, Battle At The Ministey is delayed, Mine-cart is delayed, Monsters says extended closure and Stardust is closed. That’s a bad day, people pay alot of money for this.when Mine-cart is open, it’s always a 2 – 3 hour wait.
