If you’re worried about navigating around Disney World, you can turn on GPS in the My Disney Experience app to see exactly where you are in Disney.
I love paper maps as much as you, but maybe it’s best to use them for a keepsake or to see all of your options rather than trying to get around. The app provides real-time GPS updates so you can get to your next location.
It uses Google Maps, so it has a lot of the same features as Google Maps. I love seeing step-by-step walking directions. They use all of Disney’s terms and language, so it’s easy to see where you are going. Having GPS on for this method is an option, and it lets you set your current location by landmark.
You can also see your location and a clear line to the next one. This can help see bigger landmarks to see what’s happening.
For bigger journeys, it can show you the time it takes to walk or use different transportation methods.
You can even see step-by-step instructions for getting to your next stop.
