Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Sunshine Seasons at EPCOTÂ and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant. Sunshine Seasons is located inside the Land Pavilion at EPCOT. It is a quick service restaurant that features a wide variety of dishes, especially for lunch. The four hot air balloons that hang from the ceiling are themed to the four seasons of the year.

Atmosphere
The quick service restaurant is one of the largest in the park, and it has a TON of seating indoors. Each of the different seating areas is themed to a different season.

Sunshine Seasons has a food court-style set-up, where there are multiple order counters for different types of cuisine. Including a dessert station, entrees, as well as some refrigerated cases for grab-and-go items like sandwiches, fruit, and snacks.

There are multiple drink stations throughout the food court area. They have Coca-Cola products, as well as coffee and tea.

After you pick up your food and drinks, you’ll head to one of the checkout counters. Here, you can pick up other prepackaged snacks like chips.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food & Drinks
First up, we grabbed the Birria Tacos for $9.99. This is made with Beef, Monterey Jack, Onions, Cilantro, and Lime, served with Consommé.Â

These tacos are a good deal in our opinion. You get 3 tacos for just under $10! We do wish we got more of the consommé to dip the tacos in, as that is a huge highlight for us. The lime wedge squeezed on the tacos gives them a fresh, citrusy twist. These aren’t earth-shattering tacos, and to be honest, you can find better ones in the Mexico pavilion, but they are a solid option.Â

Next up, we tried the Pepperoni Pizza Roll for $11.79. Think of a large pizza slice rolled up — that’s what this is like. Rolled inside the dough was mozzarella cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. The pepperoni was savory and meaty, the sauce had a nice tomato tang, and the cheese was plentiful.

Our main complaint with this dish is that it was a bit soggy on the inside. It was also heavy on the garlic flavor, so if you aren’t a big fan of that, you might want to skip this.

The pasta salad side had an almost pickled taste to it. With the macaroni noodles, you had red pepper and cucumbers. This was not a side we would grab again. The other option is a bag of chips, which could be helpful to keep in your park bag for a snack for later.

To drink, we picked up the Tropical Boba Juice for $5.79. This is made with Minute Maid® Strawberry, Minute Maid® Mango, and Minute Maid® Zero Sugar Lemonade with Boba Pearls. This is light and fruity and would be perfect on a hot summer day.Â

Magic or Tragic?
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want a relaxing, air-conditioned place to enjoy a cheap meal. You’ll find plenty of AC to enjoy here.
- You’re eating lunch. Sunshine Seasons has the best menu offerings at lunchtime.
- You are exploring the Land Pavilion. Hitting up Soarin’, Living with the Land, and Awesome Planet all at once? Just stay in the pavilion, grab your eats, and then move on.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You want to eat dinner. There is no dinner served here. Starting at 4 PM, lunch ends, and there are limited snacks available.
- You want a more upscale meal. The food here isn’t groundbreaking or fancy, so you might want to try it in the World Showcase.
- There is an EPCOT festival happening. If you want to enjoy some festival food around EPCOT, we would recommend doing that for one of your meals instead of stopping at a quick service restaurant.

All in all, we think this restaurant is underrated. Guests normally talk about all the places to eat in World Showcase, so Sunshine Seasons gets overlooked. It has a wide variety of menu options, plenty of seating, and some truly top-notch snacks and sweets. Plus, it’s indoors, so it’s a great choice when it’s raining!

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
