Universal Orlando’s NEWEST Hotel Is Now OPEN!

ALERT! There’s now a new place to stay in Orlando!

While Epic Universe is set to open in May 2025 (can you believe it’s only a few months away?!) Universal is ready to open one of the new hotels near the park. Say hello to the Universal Stella Nova Resort, which is officially open to guests today, January 21st, 2025!

We had the chance to preview the hotel last week and we were impressed. This is in Universal’s Prime Value hotel category and the prices for rooms are reasonable from what we’ve seen. We are also checking in to experience the hotel as a guest today and we can’t wait!

It was definitely a busy morning for the Stella Nova Resort. The line for check-in was LONG. It wrapped through the whole lobby and back behind the bar. There seems to be a lot of other people who are also excited about staying at this brand-new resort too.

There are also some special opening day festivities including a photo op with people dressed as astronauts and a guy walking around in a spacesuit playing music and hyping up the crowds.

Stella Nova Resort has several dining locations including Cosmos Cafe and Market, Galaxy Bar and Grill, and Nova Bar. Pizza delivery is also an option here!

It boasts many of the perks and amenities of other Universal hotels including complimentary transportation and early park admission. The best part? It’s within walking distance of Epic Universe!

Epic Universe will open its gates on May 22nd, 2025, and reveal five brand new lands to the public — Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and a new Wizarding World land.

Epic Universe tickets are on sale now but there are a few caveats. Although Annual Passholders can purchase single-day tickets, regular guests must purchase at least a 3-day ticket that only allows access to Epic Universe for one of those days. Universal has said single-day tickets will become available to everyone in the future but hasn’t announced when that might be. Learn more about the tickets below!
