The Inside Out universe is EXPANDING.
This weekend, Disney is hosting the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The sprawling convention broke news from across Disney’s spectrum of offerings, including films, television streaming, video games, and parks.
One of the weekend’s first major announcements was that of a NEW television series set inside the Inside Out universe, just weeks after Inside Out 2 became the highest-grossing animated film ever!

Pixar head Pete Docter announced the series during the Friday night Disney Entertainment panel at the Honda Center. Set between the Inside Out films, the series will follow the Dream Studio within Riley’s mind that was featured in both films. Footage shown during the event previewed both Joy and Disgust appearing in the series.
