Get ready, Horror Nights fans, new MERCH is coming…

For over three decades, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights has been the premier Halloween theme park event in the US, with a focus on both original concepts and some of the most well-known intellectual properties associated with the genre. Now, one of these iconic characters is getting some spine-tingling merch.
This year, Chucky, the sadistic doll at the center of the long-running Child’s Play franchise — currently sitting at eight films and the three-season television series that airs on the NBC-Universal-owned USA Network — is getting not one, but TWO pieces of Halloween Horror Nights merchandise.
First up, there’s this year’s Chucky Popcorn Bucket. According to Universal, this new souvenir has “Glowing and blinking eyes, plus a stitched-up look inspired by Bride of Chucky for an even scarier look than last year. You can speak to Chucky, and he will talk back to you with new phrases as well. This is a must-have for Chucky fans.”

The popcorn bucket retails for $43.99 and will be available at Halloween Horror Nights events at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Studios Singapore.
Secondly, there’s this Chucky Tumbler. As Universal explained, “This tumbler features a blood-dripping effect that’s sure to be a favorite for any fan of the iconic good guy.”

The cup will be available at Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood for $27.
In addition to the Chucky merchandise, the 2004 edition of Halloween Horror Nights will feature houses based on properties, including Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Insidious, A Quiet Place, and the Universal Monsters as well as original concepts.

The Chucky television series premiered on the USA Network in 2021. The most recent season, which revolved around Chucky dealing with spirits living in the White House, concluded in April 2024. According to the show’s producers, the season aimed to “put Chucky into a situation where there are other entities hovering about who might have their own agendas and their own goals.”

Both the new Chucky popcorn bucket and the blood-dripping tumbler will be available at Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. Stay tuned to AE for further Horror Nights updates.

A talking pop-corn bucket? Seriously? How cool is that? I’m not a horror fan by any means, but that is seriously cool. Chucky’s eyes glow and it speaks. With that said, it will probably turn itself on, make popcorn, and start talking to the cat.
