The biggest Disney fan event of the year is coming to Anaheim soon!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is taking place from August 9th through 11th at the Anaheim Convention Center, which means it’s coming up soon. Now, don’t get us wrong: we’re super excited about all the great panels and exhibitions we’ll be seeing at the event, but what we’re really excited about is all the shopping. Now, we have a full guide to what you need to know to shop this massive event.
Where to Shop
Those who were lucky enough to grab tickets to D23: The Ultimate Fan Event before they sold out will get a chance to shop at World of Disney: The Product Experience, where you’ll find limited-edition and event-exclusive merchandise from the D23 marketplace, Disney Publishing, and more. This experience will be located on North Level 200 of the Anaheim Convention Center

This experience will include the D23 Marketplace, where you’ll be able to grab products from the Disney Store and Disney Parks, including limited-edition dolls, debut collections, a new vinyl collectible series, and more. This is also where you’ll find all-new limited-edition pins and a limited-edition capsule celebrating the 25th anniversary of Disney pin trading.

Disney Publishing books and merchandise will also be included in this shopping experience. You’ll be able to pick up first-to-market books, including titles from Bob Weis, former President of Walt Disney Imagineering; incoming Disney Legend, Martha Blanding; Pete Docter, Pixar Animation Studios’ Chief Creative Officer, and many more.
This space will even have a new sip-and-shop experience featuring the latest blend from Joffrey’s! Coffee and shopping? What’s not to love?

You’ll also find stores on the show floor, including The Walt Disney Company Main Store in Hall D where you’ll find branded merchandise from The Walt Disney Studios, The Walt Disney Archives, and The Walt Disney Company. This is also where you’ll find all branded merchandise for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The Walt Disney Company Pin Store in Hall B will offer a huge variety of limited-edition pins, with new pins appearing each day of the event.

You’ll find Mickey’s of Glendale in Hall C, which will include unique collections from Disney’s Imagineers. This also includes the Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store. Note: this pin store will be cashless, and you will need to have the Disneyland app on your phone to make a purchase.

The Disney Studio Store Hollywood will be in Hall B — here, you’ll find limited-edition pins, framed pin sets, and official Disney Studio Store branded clothing.
How To Shop
Both merchandise mobile checkout and virtual queue will be used at select shopping locations and will be available through a direct link from the D23 app to the Disneyland app. Both apps are now available on the app store for iOS and Android devices, with an update coming soon. Note that some locations will not accept cash and will only accept a credit or debit card.

If you’re interested in some of that super-exclusive and popular merchandise, be prepared to join a virtual queue on your phone. The process should work the same way it does in the Disney parks; you’ll join the queue, be assigned to a group, and wait for your group to be called! We’ll be sure to share more information about the virtual queue process when it’s live, so stay tuned for updates.
If you’re unable to attend The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, though, you can still shop some of the collection via The Disney Store as of August 12th at 8AM PST. You’ll find the D23 Event store here.
We’ll be covering all the big announcements from the event, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
