NEW Ticket Deal Announced for Universal Orlando!

It’s not too late to plan a summer vacation!

Universal Orlando

Excitement around the Universal Orlando Resort is arguably at an all-time high right now, with fans eagerly awaiting the 2025 opening of Epic Universe. This new third full theme park gate seems poised to change the resort forever. However, if you’d like to make one final visit to the pre-Epic version Universal Orlando — and enjoy everything new they’re offering — the company just released an outstanding new ticket deal for the summer.

Universal Orlando’s new ticket offer includes 2 Days Free with a 2-Park, 3-Day Ticket, for a total of 5 days to explore the Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure theme parks. In addition, you can upgrade to include Volcano Bay, adding the revolutionary water park to that stellar list of attractions.

The tickets are for any 5 calendar days during an 8 consecutive calendar day period, beginning with the first day. Overall ticket price is also determined by the first date of your visit, as displayed on Universal’s pricing calendar. As specified by Universal, “Ticket prices and availability vary by day. Daily pricing is visible within the Web Store price calendar to see exact ticket price for your preferred period of visitation. Select dates are not valid for first day of purchase. Offer may be modified, suspended, or terminated at the sole discretion of Universal Orlando.”

While Epic Universe may not be opening until next year, there’s still plenty happening at the Universal Orlando Resort right now. A new DreamWorks Land geared towards younger kids is about to open in Universal Studios Florida, featuring a roller coaster themed to Trolls (called the Trollercoaster, naturally), a stage show, and meet & greets with characters from Shrek and Kung Fu Panda.

In addition to DreamWorks Land, Universal is launching a new parade and lagoon show this summer, both of which will be celebrating classic films. Premiering on June 14th, the brand new nighttime lagoon show CINESATIONAL “will celebrate the emotional power of music by leveraging the iconic scores and scenes from blockbuster films that have inspired Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions – including Warner Bros. Pictures Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, Jurassic World, Jaws, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Trolls, Back to the Future, Universal Monsters, Transformers, How to Train Your Dragon, E.T., Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, The Mummy and King Kong.”

The show will be one of the most technologically advanced Universal has ever done, and feature “228 fountains that reach heights up to 131 feet, incredible 4K projection mapping, an original composition featuring newly arranged scores meticulously crafted to each scene, and more than 600 drones – all coming together to envelop guests in a breathtaking display of unforgettable cinematic moments.”

A smaller-scale nighttime show will debut in Islands of Adventure’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter on June 14th. Entitled Hogwarts Always, the new projection show will overtake its titular castle each evening.

A few weeks later on July 3rd, the Mega Movie Parade will make its debut. The daytime parade will see “some of the most beloved stories from Universal’s films will leap off the screen and land on the streets of Universal Studios Florida for Universal Mega Movie Parade – a spectacular celebration of iconic movies E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Illumination’s Minions and Sing and DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls and Kung Fu Panda. Universal Mega Movie Parade will be Universal Orlando’s biggest daytime parade to date and combine 13 brand new floats, nearly 100 performers – including dancers, skaters, stilt walkers, poi performers and more – and special effects to create a jaw-dropping experience where guests can relive classic film moments in a whole new way.”

Finally, speaking of celebrating classic films from the past of Universal Studios Florida, the resort’s latest tribute store is open as of May 24th. Themed like a 1980s mall, with three distinct faux businesses: Mega Video Rental, Mega Castle Arcade, and Tribute Theatre, the Tribute Store Plaza will have merchandise and theming from classic summer blockbusters including Jaws, E.T., Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Shrek. In addition, the store will offer Jurassic World, Minions, and Trolls bubble wands that will interact with those films’ respective floats in the aforementioned Mega Movie Parade.
