Even in the Disney Parks, it’s important to be prepared for a wide variety of situations — including natural disasters.
Over the years, the Parks have had to prepare and implement policies pertaining to natural disasters like hurricanes, flash floods, wild fires, and earthquakes. With Disneyland located in California, there have been numerous instances where earthquakes could be felt in the parks — even causing downtimes and ride closures. This happened on December 4th. Here’s what you need to know.
KABC7 reports that on Monday, December 4th, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred, with the epicenter located one mile east of Fullerton, California.
At Disneyland, visitors reported feeling brief shaking, and we noticed on the app that 35 attractions closed as a precaution after the brief earthquake was felt.
No damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
