The sun is shining, the weather is warming up, and all we can think about is…Halloween?
If you’ve planned a Disney World vacation recently, you know that you have to book things early. Dining reservations? Those open 60 days in advance. Booking a Disney World hotel? Rooms can fill up months in advance. That’s why Disney is already preparing for Halloween and we’ve got an exciting update for anyone visiting the parks during spooky time!
Disney World recently announced the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with dates, prices, and everything that is confirmed to return. And it’s almost time to buy those tickets…for some guests at least!
On April 27th, 2023, tickets go on sale EARLY just for Disney World hotel guests for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed you need to have a hotel reservation for the night of the party date you want to attend in order to be eligible to buy tickets on April 27th.
The party will be available in Magic Kingdom on select nights this fall from August 11th, 2023 through November 1st, 2023. Here is the full list of dates:
- August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
- September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
- October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
- November: 1

If you are not a Disney World hotel guest, you’ll be able to purchase tickets starting on May 2nd. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the biggest Disney World events of the year and is expected to sell out — set your alarms now so that you can grab tickets!
Disney has not announced exactly what time the tickets will go on sale for hotel guests on April 27th, so we’d recommend checking early in the morning and then throughout the day. We’ll also be sure to let you know when they are available!

My husband and I got our tickets at 0100 this morning! Very impressed that the app was working and it was so easy this time! No waiting on the phone for over 3 hours this time!
And that is how you jack people for the October 31st rooms. Fair is fair and that at least cuts out the local community from staying at home and prevents people from hoarding the tickets.
