Magic Kingdom is home to many rides for Disney fans of all ages!

Although Splash Mountain just closed to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, there are still plenty of thrills to be had in the park. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing Disney World dark ride, you have one less option right now.
We were walking through Fantasyland, admiring the fact that Ariel’s Grotto is now open, when we noticed that Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid was closed.

Cast Members did not have any information about when the ride may come back up. For now, you can meet Ariel in her grotto, but beware — the wait times have been over an hour most of the day.

If you want to ride Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid, keep checking the My Disney Experience app. Wait times are constantly being updated in the app, so it is a good resource for checking which rides are closed or open.

Thank you gor not making me scroll through three pages of Disney history before getting to what the article is really about. I can’t even click on the other Disney sites anymore…it’s so annoying and often clickbait. I’ll be sticking to yours! 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words, Lisa! I’ve passed your comments along to the writer.
