NEW Brightline Train Stations Opening in Florida Soon

We’ve got more Brightline Train news!

Last we heard, part of the high-speed train’s expansion in Central Florida was set to start testing at a higher speed soon, and we’ve been keeping an eye on all the news about the train’s expansion. We’ve just heard the news that two new stations are opening up this week!

According to The Orlando Sentinel, the Brightline stations in Boca Raton and Aventura will have their first day of service on Wednesday, December 21st.

This will change the number of stations in South Florida from three to five. It’s expected that in 2023, the train will run from Miami to Orlando. The other stations in South Florida are located in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.

During weekends and non-peak hours, Brightline will provide service about every other hour at the new stations, while the other existing stations will continue with service every hour. This is to “optimize commuter patterns” and focus on “peak morning and evening weekday service.”

The Boca Raton station is in between Mizner Park and the city’s public library and is located at 101 NW 4th St., while the Aventura station is near the Aventura Mall at 19796 W. Dixie Highway.
