For Marvel fans, this weekend was about one thing, and one thing only…Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The movie was projected to make big bucks at the box office, but it blew the original numbers out of the waters. It was incredibly popular for the first few days, and now we’ve finally got the final opening weekend numbers in!
According to Sony, the film brought in a total of $260 million throughout the full opening weekend. That makes it the second-biggest opening weekend of all time, right behind Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame made $357 million its opening weekend (numbers which will be very difficult to dethrone!). Last night, it was projected that Spider-Man: No Way Home would end the weekend with $253 million, earning spot number three on the list of all-time records. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, its final numbers bumped it up above Avengers: Infinity War, which earned $257.6 million over the same time period.
