VIDEO: Okay Disney, THIS is How You Do a Castle Makeover!

Big things are coming to Disneyland Paris for its 30th Anniversary in 2022!  With popular events like Paris Pride coming back and plenty of new anniversary merch coming to Paris, there’s a lot to look forward to.

One of the big changes that happened leading up to the anniversary is a major renovation to Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, A.K.A. Sleeping Beauty Castle.

This renovation is a bit more than just a touch-up — it’s a pretty hefty project, with major aspects of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris needing some love.

After the park closed, the cranes got to work lifting up the pieces of the towers that needed to be added to the castle.

Although heavy machinery was used to lift up the pieces, everything was fastened and assembled by hand!

Every bit of the castle is made by hand by local companies and Disney artisans who shaped every aspect of this castle down to the shingles.
