‘Tis the holiday season in Disney World, folks! While that means that treats, merchandise, and entertainment will be taking over the parks, you can also expect plenty of people to be visiting too.
As we move closer to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, more guests make their way into Disney World with family and friends. But, it looks like the crowds are starting EARLY in one theme park today for the season!
It’s the last day of the epic runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend in Disney World. And, even though there are lots of participants competing in the races, that means the runners and their parties are also heading to the parks after the events. Still, we didn’t expect to see THIS many people in EPCOT today!
The queues to enter the park extended far past the turnstiles as EPCOT opened at 11AM for the day.
Once we finally made our way into EPCOT, the lines had already started to get busy with many guests stopped at attractions like Spaceship Earth…
…and visiting Guest Relations at the front of the park. Despite the crowds being there for runDisney, this could be just a clue of what’s to come during the holiday season. So, if you’re planning to visit Disney World over the next few weeks, you might want to plan your day accordingly!
