Going to Disney Springs Just Got Easier for Guests at This Resort!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick which Disney Resort to stay at, because there are SO many great options all around Disney property.

Old Key West Pool

One of the perks of staying at Disney’s Old Key West Resort is just how close it is to Disney Springs. So, you have quick access to your favorite restaurants and stores without having to wander too far around property! While Old Key West has been operating with Disney buses, another kind of transportation also just reopened so you have even faster access to Disney Springs!

Since Disney’s Old Key West is a Disney Vacation Club resort, the DVC Ferry has officially reopened!

  1. During the day, at least, or before the sun goes down in the evening, there is also a walking trail that goes from Old Key West to both Saratoga Springs and Disney Springs. The trail ends at the entrance to Disney Springs near Cirque de Soleil (as long as it is open—-you could not use it for a earlier during the pandemic when there were temperature checks and the like- not sure if it is reopened). But if it is closed, you can use the trail branch that goes to Saratoga Springs and get to Disney Springs on the trails from Saratoga Springs. One of the real shortcomings about these two resorts is the maps don’t highlight these trails and the signs within the resorts are very, very limited in directing you where to go to find the trails. I use them a lot when I stay at either resort.
